Dr Dower has been involved in hip endoscopic surgery since 2004 and has hosted both Prof Byrd and Dr Mark Philipon at the Lifecare Orthopaedic Hospital. They are both considered to be the worlds leading surgeons in hip endoscopic surgery. He remains actively involved in teaching and research at GSH and together with Dr Garth Grobler he runs the internationally funded Lifecare Orthopaedic Hospital Hip and Knee Fellowship.
